Children love the Smokies! There are breathtaking view,
waterfalls, historic exhibits and lots of shopping! But after a
while, kids need a place to run, scream and let out some energy!
That's the perfect time to take them to Santa's Land, where they
can have an action packed good time! Come to Santa's Land first
thing in the morning. Enjoy our 25 acre fun park and zoo, then
take the kids to the Smokies later when the weather is cooler. If
you decide to come to Santa's Land in the afternoon, remember,
when you come after 3PM, the next day is FREE! Either way, Santa's
Land is a "must do" for kids!
Start
your trip to Santa's Land, in nearby Cherokee, early in the
morning, The ride over the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in
the morning is spectacular! We suggest you stop halfway at the
highest spot in the Smokies: Clingman's Dome, and enjoy the
beautiful views! Then continue on your way to Santa's Land for
hours of family fun. After Santa's Land, check out the Cherokee
Indian Museum in downtown Cherokee, as well as the 100 year old
Pioneer Farm at the NC entrance to the National Park. Also, Gem
Mining is a great outing for families. We suggest the best place
in town, the Smoky Mountain Gold & Ruby Mine on Hwy 441N in
downtown Cherokee. It will be a full day of fun, entertainment and
togetherness for your family!
Don't
even think about visiting Cherokee, NC without bringing the kids
and grandkids to Santa's Land. They will love you for it! It is
THE place in the Smokies for your kids to have the time of their
lives. Free parking makes this all day trip even more family
